It's the last day of the year, and I haven't really anything to post about in over two weeks.

I've decided that my New Year's Resolution this past year was actually quite practical, and congratulate myself for having nearly accomplished it. Given another week or two, or not having holidays so close to the end of the year would have probably helped.

So, with that as inspiration, I've decided to take on a couple slightly more challenging goals this new year. Of course, these are just my challenges, since some might argue that writing a story shouldn't take a year... but that I've been working, or pondering on it, for about 12 years so far, indicates to me that maybe I need a difinitive goal in order to get my ass in gear.

That's just one of my goals. I've got a couple others, but the resolution itself is that this coming year, I resolve to be more dedicated to that which I attempt, to see things through to completion, even when the process flatly bores the hell out of me.

Now, let's see if I can do it...
